Actually we do know what Jesus was thinking about on the cross. He had 'Seven Words' on the cross. These words or sentences came right out of His gut as He was dying on the cross. They are worth meditating on and asking ourselves what would we say on our death bed? Notice how often He was concerned about others. Which saying particularly strikes you?

We have now passed the half-way mark for Lent. How are you doing? Great? That's terrific! Just so-so? Join the crowd. It is human nature to need a pick-me-up during Lent. A 'Tira mi su'. The Dominicans are fond of the saying, "If you've met one Dominican, you've met one Dominican." The thing is we are all different. We come from different backgrounds, educational levels, religious viewpoints. We are different sexes, ages, races, etc. Some are conservative; some are liberal.
